Church of Oak

Overview
Church of Oak is Bono’s distillery, shaped from the ground up as one continuous act of design, architecture, interiors, strategy and brand conceived as a single idea. The aesthetic is deliberate, raw Brutalist architecture set against the warmth and ceremony of whiskey, giving physical form to its ‘Traditions of Tomorrow’ philosophy.
This was a €50 million-plus build, and we sat on the management team that delivered it, accountable across architecture, interiors, product and launch. With the British Standards Institution we built a blockchain provenance system on OriginTrail that verifies every bottle from grain to glass, proof of origin engineered into the brand rather than bolted on.
